Sarah has been a group fitness instructor for over 15 years. She first got her start as a Penn State fitness instructor, teaching cycling, step, HIIT, and yoga. Most recently, she was the Director of the Wellness Commons and FitWell at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. There, she was in charge of the fitness operations and programming, and wellness outreach on campus. She is a certified personal trainer (NASM) and fitness instructor (ACE) and has trained many students to become certified fitness professionals. Her primary focus is to help others realize the joy of movement and its benefits to their health and performance. Sarah loves the community of the YMCA, and has taught at Ys in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Alabama. She currently lives in Albion and is thrilled to be a part of the Battle Creek YMCA.
